Lifelike Coffee

Life is like a cup of hot steamy coffee,

Hazel, Chocolate, Strong, Light, comes in different forms to me,

Aroma so refreshing, like the dawn drums banging,

Add a little sugar and hear the walls tinkling,

A little soggy, froth melts in mouth,

Never to stay, like the hurdles shout aloud,

Creamy coffee… Oh! So delicious and smooth!

The way we carve our own routes,

Stir and you see swirl in the cup,

In dilemma when life is, seems so rough,

Hearts, leaves, nuts, apples and what not,

Problems get bigger, in our hearts they rot,

Beat it, pour it, it’ll always be bitter,

Panicky situations make the body jitter,

Light a cigarette and it tastes the best,

Team AC and Sunshine, on the bed you rest,

First sip frees you from shackles of sleep,

All ready and out, evenings for a clean sweep,

Anti-tiredness, anti-restlessness, gives complete relaxation,

Like a good night kiss strengthening the connection,

Inspires and motivates, energises you to strive,

A kick on the ass, don’t look back, don’t stop in life!!
